Austria’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ Summer of Sport

Volvo Masters Amateur Austria 200823rd May sees the big tee-off in Volvo Cars Austria’s third successive season of amateur golf as the players at Golf Club Bodensee-Weissensberg start out on the long road to their national final and the possibility of a place in the Volvo Masters Amateur World Final in Spain.

The action then moves to GC Murstätten, GC Ottenstein and GC Föhrenwald during June with the final three qualifying championships in July, at GC Traunsee Kircham, GC St Pölten and the Golf & Country Club Salzburg Schloss Klessheim.

Then it is on to the magnificent Zell am see / Kaprun club for the all-Austria national final, the 'Schmittenhöhe' and 'Kitzsteinhorn' courses, named in honour of the local mountains of the region, one of the country’s toughest tests of golf, scenically set in the foothills of the Austrian Alps.
